How Wide Translations Obtains Personal Data

Personal data obtained by Wide Translations stems from request for quotes from our customers or prospective vendors looking to work with us. WT processes data such as personal identifying data, address and location, files sent to us for quotation and projects, resumes and CV’s of our accredited vendors, financial documentation for accounting purposes and email addresses. In addition, for some customers conducting clinical trials, we translate files that may accidentally contain unredacted personal identifying information of the research subjects.

Wide Translations has security procedures in place to ensure that all records are secured. These records are accessible only by those required to access your data. Our servers our only accessed by a small number of WT’s staff. Our information security is only accessible internally and audited to ensure it is in compliance with Wide Translations’s procedures and meets industry standards.

When data is no longer deemed necessary in relation to the purpose that it was collected, WT will delete user data. Upon withdrawal of consent WT will also delete your user data.
